Orchestra Academy Conductor: Ernest Schelle


Ernest Schelle -2º mention at the Besançon International Conducting Competition.
Divides his time between his work as conductor (Guest Conductor & Artistic Director of French conductor and Switzerland) and the teaching of conducting.After studying music in violin in Berlin, Bern and Lausanne, Ernst Schelle is dedicated to conducting. Winner of International Competition for Conductors in Besançon, then it is required to conduct concerts in New York, Washington, Madrid, Brussels, Paris, London and other cities. He led five seasons in Besançon and the Symphony Orchestra of the Academy of Arts, Cairo. These activities have brought music to conduct numerous orchestras including the Orchestra for five years Poitou-Charentes.
Ernst Schelle runs for several years, the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra and recorded the album "Sarajevo Renaissance" in March 1997. Working as a musician, Ernst Schelle has conducted research on conducting and teaching at the Academy AIDIMOS.

    I was soloiste in Mr Schelle's workshop for young conductors in Pontarlier in 1992 or 1993 !
    I played the Sibelius concerto for violin twice. Each movement was played hence two times conducted by a new student at the beginning of each movement.
    Well both concerts were video-taped. (Those were the days of VHS)
    And Mr Schelle was going to send them to me. ' Never got them.
    Always the optimist, it would be nice to have them now as souvenirs, n'est-ce pas? my site and my contact :
